I was drawn to jewellery design after studying reiki and exploring the energetic properties of gemstones and crystals. I wanted to create elegant and stylish jewellery that would also enable people to benefit from this energy. As an interior designer at the time, it was small leap to turn my design skills to jewellery. A year or two later I returned to study at Holts Academy to learn how to make my own pieces, and have been hooked ever since.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1493036532378{padding-right: 30px !important;}”]I love to make as well as design; I find it meditative, and I get to impart Reiki energy to the stones I work with. The name given to my brand of jewellery comes from a little bit of my personal history. Ruby Warren was the name of one of my great aunts, a charismatic and somewhat enigmatic lady with a lot of hidden depths. Ruby in the ancient language of Sanskrit also translates to “King of Gems”, which is somewhat appropriate. I changed Ruby to Rubi, to make it my own, and there it is.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator color=”custom” accent_color=”#cc1a0e”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
